You might have read somewhere else that you should write blogs with necessary subheadings. But it is a wrong notion. Most of us think that subheadings will make your blog better as well as improve readability. NO!!! In this post, I am reasoning out why should we avoid subheadings in blogs.

If you include subheadings in the post, it will ruin the flow of the article. Blog posts are generally not more than 400 words. If you write more than 500 words, you can break up a post by including subheadings. You should never include a subheading in the middle of a para, and with careful placing, it can help.

Most of the readers think that the subheadings insults them as you are preaching them by providing subheadings. They might think that you need not tell them what they’re about to read. They can easily grasp your points within few seconds of reading your article.

Adding subheading to your post is similar to adding spoiler on the trunk of your Ford Focus. Yes! Already your post are short, if you include subheadings, it will increase the word count and the reader will feel that they might get bored to read a long article with so many subheadings. So they will skip the page immediately.

Just blog as you think a thing in your mind. If you’re writing a long post, you can go for subheading. Otherwise, keep on blogging to make money online. ALL THE BEST!!!
